The year ended on a joyful note with the BLD Cebu Youth Ministry’s Sportsfest and Christmas Party in December 2024. The Sportsfest fostered camaraderie, teamwork, and healthy competition among the youth, while the Christmas Party brought everyone together to celebrate the birth of Christ with music, laughter, and fellowship. Games, presentations, and the sharing of meals made the day festive and memorable.
But beyond the fun and games, this dual event served as a reminder that the body, mind, and spirit all need nurturing. The Sportsfest encouraged discipline, cooperation, and perseverance, while the Christmas celebration centered everyone’s hearts on the greatest gift—Jesus Christ. Both activities strengthened the bonds within the youth community and deepened their shared commitment to living a Christ-centered life.
